Rolland has been producing innovative, high-performance cosmetics for hair salons, beauty institutes and cosmetic shops for over fifty years.
The Rolland trademark belonged to a French firm established in Grasse, land of high
perfumery, in the early 1900's. During the ‘40s the French firm closed and the Rolland trademark was bought out in Italy.
Rolland was among the
first in Italy to try out production
plants for hair sprays
Starting in the ‘50s, the success of the new experience inspired the idea to begin
producing salon products. Subsequently, on the strength of the experience it had
acquired, it organized its business by creating parallel facilities to study and produce
professional lines dedicated to beauty and makeup.
In 2001, some innovations were made in the industrial process, with investments in technologically-advanced machines that help to automate and standardize blending
and packaging operations, covering a working area of 8,000 m².
Rolland currently has a
daily production capacity
of over 45,000 kg

controlled.
The majority of Rolland’s products contain NATURAL INGREDIENTS, often CERTIFIED ORGANIC INGREDIENTS, and are based on a "NATURAL", DELICATE, HEALTHY PHILOSOPHY. Ammonia-free as a philosophy.
